Donations allow us to make effective music instruction accessible to any interested young string player. As students become advanced, we rely on donations to reward those who volunteer their skills with music scholarships.

Select Advanced String players as mentors.
Participants will be chosen through a rigorous selection process, including a completed recommendation form, application, and interview, followed by three hours of training. In order to suit the needs of beginning string students in our community, we need 4 violinists, 2 violists, 3 cellists, and 1 bassist.Provide Volunteer Work/ Teaching Experience
Each volunteer will commit to two sessions of volunteer work. Volunteer activities include mentoring beginning students in individual and/or group settings.Award Scholarships
Upon the completion of two sessions of volunteer work, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their time spent in the program with an exit interview and will be awarded a scholarship. Scholarships will be allocated to cover music-related expenses such as education, music camp, sheet music, and instrument costs.
